A few hours ago GQ magazine posted the phot below via Instagram. The photo is of a casting for Stefano Pilati’s debut Ermenegildo Zegna show in Milan. The problem is, there is no people of color, Hispanics, Latinos, Asian…no one else. Users on Instagram are kind of upset and began writing comments about no diversity and accusing GQ of being a racist publication.
Noted, there are no people of color or any other ethnicity included in the casting.. Some users are defending GQ and the designer holding the show. Users have said the designers have visions and GQ is only fulfilling while others say, it is embedded racism that a casting director, automatically casts out, the men of color to fit the “vision” of the designer..
Does the vision include an all white model line up?
